Who We Are
Mac Owens
Sound Designer | Owner
Mac Owens is a sound designer and the creative director of Clean Wavs. With 10 years of industry experience, Mac has worked on everything from linear media such as podcasts and audio books, to interactive media such as video games. He has an intimate understanding of audio and what is needed to elevate a project sonically, regardless of whether it’s sound effects, dialogue, music, or the overall mix.
Stemming from his time working with Johns Hopkins University as an audio producer and editor of online lectures, Mac occasionally likes to brag about his “bootleg PhD”. He is also known to brag that his audiologist referred to his ears as “perfect”.
